Yeah. The 100 degree heat is not a problem. But the elephants definitely need water. The fan is not going to do it.

That’s not a comforting thought. They can do a lot of damage in the next 10 years. They have already legalized Republicans’ jerrymeandering. It won’t be long until Republicans turn the US into a one party country.

Why was he going to Russia anyways?  Does he have another paymaster there?

EV’s are great for short drives. Short drives where the engine doesn’t get to warm up, are very bad for ICE engine wear and also bad for the gas mileage. Bad for the environment too with all the cold start emissions.

how little they range they really needed on a daily basis

The big mistake GM made, was not broadening the Volt line into CUV’s. The whole country was moving towards CUV’s. Why on earth did GM stubbornly continue on with the sedan form factor with the second generation Volt?

They already reached peak truck idiocy with the Hummer H2 SUT (even the name is stupid)

This is what happens when professional truckers get replaced by Uber Freight etc.

EV’s are really best for this type of low speed stop and go local routes.

Where do they find the civilians to staff this McDonalds?

If the only thing preventing me from certain death is my car’s AC- I would just plain avoid going to this place.

Do you not count the Impreza, Corolla, Civic, Mazda 3

I think of small cars as sub-compacts. Keep in mind that the current Corolla, Civic, Elantra, etc, have all suffered from generational bloat so they are not really compacts anymore. They are more like the first 2-3 generations of Camry’s and Accords

That is an insanely good deal! Back in 2017 there was a brief window of time when the Nissan Leaf, VW E-Golf and Fiat 500e were all leasing for $99/month. My wife leased a Leaf and that was a great deal for us.  But this $19/month lease is just incredible!

Ha! Now that would be good clean fun entertainment!

Yup. And the drone guns will be controlled by the AI. The Skynet is complete.

I rented a Fusion station wagon in Germany back in 2017 or so. It was a great car that was well built and felt very ‘european’ in the best sense of the word.

Agreed. Especially now that we know heavier cars create more tire and brake dust. There needs to be a weight tax- especially on ICE heavy trucks that rely only on their brakes to slow down.

They don’t even have to convert RHD cars to LHD. Ford still sells Fiestas in Europe, which are already LHD.

Not in the US. We have basically no small cars other than the Mitsubushi Mirage, Mini Cooper and Fiat 500.
