I don’t know. The plastic valve cover on the turbo 4's is still a dumb, leak prone part. And you have to replace the whole plastic cover when it leaks. The dual cooling system is another problem spot. There is a cooling system for the engine, and another for the intercooler.

Agreed. I can’t make a good case for the DEF-drinking diesel cars.

I can buy that he jumped into an identical CR-V. These things are everywhere. But I assume that the key chain would be different, right? It would be mind boggling that the other person would have the same key chain as this guy. Some thing doesn’t add up in this story.

What is the obsession with making these EV’s so boxy looking? EVs’ greatest weakness is highway range. They should make all EVs’  as aerodynamic as possible. They should all look like Priuses.

In fact for an enthusiast car, I much rather prefer the base version without the sunroof and other gee-gaws. The sports seats can be swapped in easily.

I think both BMW and Audi do (and have been doing) the same thing. You only get non-metallic black or white for free. Everything else will cost you extra.

Well, when you own a Porsche, you want it to stand out. So they charge you more for the ‘stand out’ colors. When you drive a Mirage, you really rather not be noticed. So they charge you more for the generic white color!
