@truthtellah: The flipside however is that I am more likely to upgrade to the 3DS now than if it wasn't backwards compatible. For me, it makes more sense because I'll be able to sell my old DS to put towards the new one. If this wasn't the case, I'm not sure I would get it (okay, okay, I would but not right away…
