@flux: I agree, while it does look rather bad up close with my face three feet from a monitor, I believe that when I'm sitting 12 feet away i'll appreciate it more.

My grandfather (90) gets upset because his doctor in the 80's (who was the same age) told him he couldn't smoke cigarettes anymore (3 packs a day). He ended up outliving him and tells us he shouldn't of trusted him.

My biggest problem with FaceTime is that if I am at home with a wifi connection, it is not only more comfortable, but also more likely that the person I want to talk to has a computer with a webcam and Skype that I can talk to via my laptop.
