Wasn’t ordered under him, so if it would have been anyone else the sending would be okay? Dumb.

If I didn’t have parents who let me keep stuff at their farm during the craziness of life I would have had to part with a ‘46 Willys CJ2A jeep that has a half cab from the 40s, and a PTO from factory. It was my grandpa’s high school ride and my great grandpa’s name is still on the title.

Guessing its because the normal trims use them. I have the ZR2 model and its fuel economy isn’t that close to the 3.6L with an air dam and other bits that add better/cleaner aero. Just my guess, as it keeps a similar yet different programming for the powerpack.

I would say it has the overdrives for certain conditions. 55-60 mph, 65-70 mph, and interstate speeds. I don’t think my Colorado climbs into 8th very much. It sits in 6th a lot on the highways.

Chicago and flat / not knowing driving roads? head further west. NW Minnesota and much of ND you can see for 5-10 miles up the road the only turns are 90 degree corners for 90 to 97% of the roads. I miss the roads of MI for the layout, not the pot holes.

Technically a manual can be beat, but everyone seems to hate them. A properly tuned CVT is always in the right gear ratio... Focus on the driving then. I prefer them in powersports like utvs over the manual machines.

I guess mine would be considered the same. It says M after D on my gauge, but then you use the +/- on the gear shifter/selector on the center console.

The engine braking on my Colorado impressed me when being left in auto mode. Set braking and let off the brakes on I-70 and it held speed really well going down hill with a SxS in tow on the trailer.

Hadn’t been out West riding SxS for work, and decided I wanted to head to Moab. Grabbed a work machine, loaded it behind the pickup and headed West from MN. Made it to Bismarck after work the first night. Next day a buddy and myself set out to make it to Moab by night. Set the tent up in the pitch black. Had a blast

especially when they show it jumping and getting air with the press driving. If I ever have an issue by doing similar with my ZR2 and they claim I am not a professional I will raise a fuss. I do similar in SxS on our test track whenever I can get away from my desk.

You would think that they would have seen that with all the rough MI roads then...

I have a ZR2. I haven’t trail rode it yet, but I can say I am a professional though... That is the funny part as I get to test my designs in the powersports market from time to time by logging miles.

These could be great in a port. Handle emission concerns, and would cut down on the bs in a way. Jobs could be reallocated to a nicer work environment monitoring all the pieces of the puzzle. Port to rail loading type of use could be a starter.

Nice, I didn’t get to ride an atv until 13 or so as we didn’t have one. I learned in a ‘86 F350 crew cab. Barely sitting on the seat and looking between the steering wheel and the dash. The year I got my permit and license I was learning how to drive semi as I had several years of here & there driving in a straight

Is his length of doubles similar to the length of a single? I have seen some crazy turnpike doubles (dual 53') which I would think would be terrible compared to doubles that are 28' long.

Have you taught them to drive yet? Growing up the fully license age in ND was 14.5, you could get your permit on your 14th birthday. My driver’s ed teacher read the newspaper as it was another farm kid and myself during our driving hours.

Get a utv...

I come from a state with no safety inspection, but how would this pass? The contact patch with the road is likely the same size as a motorcycle tire.

Looks like a lot of area when opened up to have scratches as they don’t have bed liner on it all.
