development. When they want a new technology there is a lot of trial and error throughout research and development. It is spendy to be the first to have said technologies that nobody else does have.

Well it is looking more like a separation of duties. I have family that works civilian side of a NORAD radar side. They have missile tracking and space tracking missions.

A lot are starting to integrate that into the top of the windshield making it harder to identify. I loved how easy Michigan State Patrol was to identify with the big round light.

Well that is a bit much for being “on the phone”. How many people do you want to crash? I am sure there are plenty of people on the phone all the time. You weren’t specific.

Never had one on a pickup until I got my new pickup. Always used pickups with toolboxes or fuel tanks that wouldn’t allow this. Ended up with an Aluminum slate rollup one that sticks above the bed when rolled up. I put a lot of things in the box that with the key to lock the tailgate, they are quite handy.

Detroit traffic to me seemed congested mostly around the exchanges, and would back up for miles. I lived in Novi, and drove out of the city a few miles to work. It was great going opposite of traffic. 12-14 minutes on the best day, and around 30 on the worst is what my 6.5 mile drive was with lots of stop lights, but

I have boring straight drives that you can surf the internet, hold the wheel straight, and maybe in 2-5 miles need to make a correction as there is a slight turn in the road at the mile intersection. Phone calls are a good way to pass the time. Downside is that even in this day and age, they have spotty cell service.

I have always thought they would be terrifying... Mostly because I would only tend to see doubles or triples on I-29 which has a typical NW wind through most of ND winters. Watching them sway as they went down the road is terrifying. I have driven semi in strong winds for sugar beet harvest, wet mist near freezing,

We haven’t had a famine is why we complain is what my dad has always told me. In the EU they have experienced that, and don’t want to have that again.

When I looked through the config on their website it didn’t take many small items that I would have wanted (couldn’t/didn’t want to afford a new Raptor) Ford forced the tech package on you for 9k or so. That is one of the largest issues I see.

Are those markups on the Raptor? If you add almost any option they force the tech package onto the pickup at almost 10k

Well I would guess it is hydraulic pump sizing and power. These machines, at least what I am familiar with, are hydrostatic drives where the engine turns a hyd pump, and the hyd motor turns the gear box. The bouncing would scare the crap out of me if I was going too much faster. I think ground speeds are now closer to

lol that is crazy, and that is considered medium to decent size in the Midwest it seems. Of course they get larger with more family members as owners. My dad stays really busy at under that acreage, but he does most of it himself.

For decent distance. Within probably 30 miles I would say no. We pull our headers off usually for the 20 mile drive from one end of the farm to another. Otherwise it is navigate with a 35' header out front. Crazy to see people roading with the 40s or 45's.

I think you mean divided highways. I drive all sorts of equipment on 65 mph highways in ND all the time.

Yeah we see a lot less stress in the farm hands than what my dad sees and expresses to me. He tells me to keep my engineering job many, many times a year.

This seems crazy low speed. We have a 10 year old John Deere that does 20 or more mph down the road. Yeah the Hydro drives seem weird, but my dad tells me how much better they are than the belt drive our super old, yet still around, 7700 John Deere used to drive the final drives.

Are you sure about that?

My cousins were traveling across the city that day, and should have been on that bridge around the time of collapse. Then remembered about construction and took a different route. It took them a while to get in touch with loved ones due to jams in cell towers to tell them they were safe.

I was going for I need a box on wheels, want a new vehicle, and don’t care about much else category. My Colorado has its quirks, and things you notice with ownership. I am intrigued by the thought of the Ranger Raptor, and would love to try one compared to the ZR2 gasser I have. I don’t like Ford’s pricing strategy on
