Some of the environmental policies seem to be not that intuitive. Buffer strips and the whole over fertilized / spraying over waterways they push against farmers on.

Different policies, but similar extremes. Extreme limitations of firearms is a large call from the dems. I have owned a “large capacity” firearm and now a pistol they would classify as it for several years. It has presented no greater threat to the public than when it was sold.

I was going to mention what tractorman did. ND, MN, and MI all don’t have one. I have lived in each state over the last 5 years.

and in DEM nutcases? nah.

Also, until we drastically change our taxing for infrastructure, more efficient vehicles means less highway infrastructure dollars.

So are you proposing a separate highway for semis or any pickup/truck?

Now to see if I can get out there with work paying for it... Work trip sounds way better than vacation trip.

Guessing it never took off, because of how expensive it is, and the fact that service bodies are cheaper to replace and manage.

Maybe due to geography, but I would consider a Cadillac over a BMW, Audi, or Benz... I would however own a Porsche someday down the road. Nearest true BMW dealer is 4-5 hrs away, Audi/Benz/Porsche is 2 hours away. A dealer an hour away has a BMW certified mechanic, but they would also be the place I deal with on

The dirt bike to me looks exactly like a modified Alta Motors electric bike. They did invest in Alta, so that is where I think some collaboration could be happening.

I get wore out enough from 2 weeks of sugar beet harvest that i couldn’t imagine that for a life. Farming is tough as well, but you are largely out by yourself. Beet season is 12 hour driving shifts for us (larger have 2 12 hour crews for 24/7 operations), but that doesn’t mean you go home after.

Not in my eyes, but I grew up driving semi (Learned to drive semi at 14, and had several years with straight trucks before that). An E-semi has some coolness to it, but I have never driven an auto either. Only a automated shifted manual transmission (up/down toggle), and it left a ton to be desired. It was an older

impressive. At 14 I had 8 years of driving pickups, trucks, and tractors done. Learning to drive semi at that age. Sure it wasn’t fast competitive driving, but my dad believed/needed me to be working instead of “playing” as he would put it. As much as it sucked sometimes logging all the hours on the farm, it did fully

Interesting read. I didn’t even buy the tent for that adventure, but I am thinking I will be looking for one soon. The aero and cost are 2 things that I don’t like about a RTT. Even the expedition trailers are more expensive than my current taste. I spent $1500 on the trailer I hauled 3,000 miles across the country,

It isn’t for all. I grew up on a farm, so being out with nature is normal to me. I haven’t done a ton of camping because that happens while farming season is going on. My cost though for the 4 days or so of the camp site was about the same as 1 night in the hotel that I only used for sleeping at.

I like the concept of them, would need it up a bit higher and a longer trailer for the SxS

How my old boss said. You don’t need a camper until you have a family. Suppose he was right.

Come on... maybe for someone who just wants to be outdoors, but my best version of camping would be a rooftop or rack top tent over the box... a trailer pulling a SxS or two. When I go off camping I would prefer to be on or near a trail system.

I work in powersports, so I enjoy the cold by hopping on a snowmobile. I can see being grumpy above 90. For me it starts at 85.

So nobody can be invested in clean energy, and write to investment sites on how bad coal is... That is the level of what you are trying to say. It is the same as someone owning Tesla stock and writing how bad ICE vehicles are.
