So Elon Musk is no better than the President at working to beat into submission his opposition. It feels a lot like the political left as well. I am surprised that he remains the head of Tesla.

Well if it gets up to 90 (or upper 80s) in Northern MN/ND it is a heat wave, especially with the humidity.

10 years ago there were more deer than desired. They started handing out 4 tags per person max. Pollution is one thing, but the concentration of pollution is another. 5 polluters per sq mile is one thing compared to 5,000 polluters per sq mile. Emissions control is one of the single most drawbacks to new equipment

that is what a 50 state compliance does though. It compares all places based on a worst case.

Powersports have CA compliant or 49 state compliance currently. Those 49 state compliance vehicles don’t pass the cost to the consumer in all the other states. I understand this is different than automotive, but in powersports it something that can’t be “hidden” due to the smaller numbers that it needs to be spread

Why should I have to pay the extra cash for a CA compliant vehicle and all the inspections when I can sometimes count more deer than vehicles on the roadways. We are reaching a diminishing returns level where full hybrid on all or full ev is the next level, but our grid isn’t ready.

So you admit to have a failing system (mechanical or electrical) yet still pass the standard... that seems like it isn’t worth it.

When my vintage cars get to be done I will likely insure them in a fancier matter. My Z won’t have collector plates because of restricted driving ability. The 442 whenever I get it done likely will be the same.

I would say false. Any NEW vehicle you purchase without enough money down that you are not underwater.

What about the safety standards, etc that pre owned depending how far back you go have less of?

Even though I had an insurance payment coming when I bought my WRX new back in ‘14 I felt bad taking out a loan for all but 5k (down payment). It did feel funny as well when the 1st month check was for half the loan amount.

There are things that people need to wake up to. It sounds like this is not one of those. Taxes is one that our old neighbor is fighting as his ag land is taxed higher than tiled and irrigated potato land.

Partially true, largest amount of debt is self owed through federal programs. Those programs largely that politicians like to call “entitlements” even though we paid into them our whole working life.

A warning? That officer needs to have his review. He put the public at risk by not making the operator reload the load prior to continuing his/her travels.

Agreed. I think an E truck or fuel cell semi even operated by a person would be highly beneficial to agriculture, but the capital would be the killer. Largely our semis don’t travel over 300 miles a day except during harvest, and maybe a few days hauling commodities in. They could charge faster if we had 3-phase on

Can you convert a combine/farm to fuel cell?

False, he said it would be owned... not a major

Which also means killing forests...

Well all Ag commodities are down since their peak in 2013 or so. The downside to massive yields vs. demand. The US would do better if we allowed more land in conservation programs, which would demand to leave them open to hunting availability. It is my biggest complaint to CRP and the wetland conservation is seeing

It is cool, and Pastrana is a genuine guy to the fans it seems. The biggest thing I see is that the jumps were likely way safer in the fact that they could optimize designs before Travis ever jumped. I don’t know about Evil K, but I think it was more of a I can do it.
