I imagine you can find one of the earlier games for next to nothing now. 

It’s a good idea if the ceremony ends up an hour shorter than usual.

Fanboys are going to complain no matter what. That’s why video game shows/movies suck so often, because the developers are tying to please fans, which never works, instead of just trying to make a good show. 

Skipping fantastic games because the lore isn’t clear? Uh, ok.

Do what the Tony Awards do…give out all the technical awards in an earlier ceremony, and make the ceremony itself about entertainment. Perform all the songs, show better clips for the awards being given out, and keep it reasonably short.

Let me make this as clear as possible.

Having just finished “It Takes Two”, I just want to reiterate that I’d much rather buy a two hour game where every minute is enjoyable than a 100 hour open world game that often feels like doing homework.
