I’m big fan of the series, but ended up skipping three or four of the books to get to the last three. Don’t think there’s going to be to much complaint if they cut some stuff here and there.

There is so much repetition in the books that it’ll be really easy to cut the 14 books down to, say, 5 seasons of TV. 

The Jagged Little Pill Broadway musical actually commented on it, so she’s clearly a good sport about it. 

Exactly. I’m fine with the plot changes, additional characters, etc., but you can’t fundamentally screw up the very basics of psychohistory. 

I’d say they’re going more for The Expanse with Asimov branding, but point taken.  

I knew there’s be lots and lots of changes, but to get psychohistory so wrong in a show about psychohistory is a shame. 

Too bad they made absolutely no attempt to make it realistic to the book.

I would think a hand towel might suck up the moisture and keep it crispy, as opposed to using foil to tent, which essentially steams the skin. 

For people who don’t like turkey, they really need to buy a fresh, free range bird as opposed to a frozen butterball.

I do opposite…tent during most of the cooking, then take off and turn up the temp in the last 15 or 20 minutes to crisp up the skin. 

I’ve never even seen or heard of anyone tenting after removing the turkey from the oven. You can certainly tent it during cooking, as long as you end it in higher hear untented to crisp the skin at the end, but after? That’s something you do with beef, but I’ve never seen it done with poultry.

They’re not just killing the golden goose, they’re tossing the poor thing in a wood chipper. 

That is utterly stupid, and a total waste of money.

Is it that hard to say what system it’s on towards the top?

And since that’s never going to happen, what else will you do?

Unless Russian and China get on board, anything anyone else does is pretty much meaningless.
