Congrats on caring!

Predicting supporting cast:

And one thing union contracts dictate is what work has to be done by union members, which is one of the many reasons why unionizing is important.

You’ve got the soundtrack…don’t know why you’d need an animated version as well.

That will be the interesting part of the casting, to see if they use any original cast manners in other parts.

There will probably be a backlash because they’re not casting an actual green skinned actor.

Yeah, I was concerned about the age appearance difference as well, but after hair and makeup, we’ll see.

Ugh, no.

And it felt like every minute of those four hours.

Run, don’t walk, to see Henry V.

I really don’t understand how anyone can watch Nomadland, and think, “yeah, she’d be great directing a Marvel movie!”

The reason the cut to black didn’t work, is because I, and many people I talked to, thought their cable had gone out at a pivotal moment. It wasn’t until a few seconds later that I realized that it wasn’t the case, but the moment was lost.

Keep it whole in the freezer, microwave it for 30 seconds, then cut and toast like normal.

Could I BE any less interested?

I’d go with six or seven, skip the tedious and repetitious books, then pick up with the Sanderson books. I really felt that I didn’t miss a thing, and there are some really good summaries out there.

Obviously, more than fair to stop reading a book that bores you. Just joking that stopping after 50 pages of a 14 book series is like giving up after a sentence of a normal novel. :)

Nah, at least you know what you’re quitting on by that point.

I think I read seven, then skipped to the Sanderson ones.

To be fair, “X convinces Y to help defeat the evil Z” describes about 90% of fantasy novels in existence.

Honestly, it looks like this new version could use a little of that pilot’s weirdness.
