You see, Gizmodo is a news website. It hires reporters to write news stories and post them online. You don't need to insult the guy for doing his job. Jeez....

I'm really sick of articles that include a YouTube video instead of instructions. I don't want to watch a 7 minute-long video about how to do something when I could read for 30 seconds.

The only possible flaw would be a numerical one in his math. I see no flaws in his logic.

It's fair to say that it's without one's consent. One technically did give that consent when accepting the user agreement, but user agreements are so ridiculous nowadays (34 pages long? Am I supposed to read that?) that companies know most / all people do not read through them.

So, by that logic, a dead body in your trunk would not allow a search if the officer couldn't see it while doing his normal duties.

He was a great guy, but he wasn't quite great enough to appear in the RSS feed three separate times today. This article did just that. It wasn't three separate articles about him, it was this article three times.

"Augmented Reality is done so much these days that it's not even terribly cool anymore."

A quick check of the official video's like/dislike ratio says it all: 84,412 likes to 714,469 dislikes. That shows that 10.57% of the people who bothered to rate the video actually liked it.

I can see Apple being completely bullheaded in this respect as well. However, if every single other phone offered by the two networks will conform to this standard, then I think it's safe to use the phrase "all American phones."

Did you miss the part of the article that says " all American phones"? I didn't realize Sprint controlled the American phone market.

All American providers agreed several years back to go to a standard charging specification. This is that standard.

Is there any reason that this has appeared in my RSS feed not once, not twice, but three separate times today?

Ah, Netscape.... My high school was still using it 4 years ago. They've since upgraded, but still....

I hate to say it, but that isn't Mt. Everest. I've been looking at pictures of the mountain for much of my life, and that is most definitely not it. Another fun fact is that there are no trees even remotely close to Everest, so the fact that there are trees in this picture is another indication that it isn't Everest.

I only came here to post this, but you beat me to it. Darn.

I count at least 4 rather obvious grammatical/style errors, one of which is "dont." Proofread, maybe?

That's a LOT of assumption to make based on a 41 second video.

Oh yes, Talkatone does EVERYTHING. It lets you text, chat on Google Chat, and even lets you make and receive calls (yes, receive, if you have your GV account set up to forward calls to Gmail) from your iWhatever if it has a microphone. I use it with my 4th generation iPod Touch and it's amazing. It is ad-supported,

Frash is no longer supported, so perhaps it should be removed from the article.
