Is it good though? I honestly had the same problem with it as I had with Avengers, it is essentially an on-rails RPG that changes perspective too often to get accustomed to any character or attached to them.

If you like these types of games and meandering around I HIGHLY recommend Immortals: Fenyx Rising. In many ways it is Assassin's Creed: BotW. I actually liked Immortals way more than Valhalla (although its scale is much, much smaller)

In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey it became more and more time consuming to level up (like in most RPGs), which made the $10 booster more of a slap in the face (I actually didn’t care and would have purchased it if I knew what a grind the back half of the game would be, but I still loved the game).

I'm not, people acted like that game shipped broken, which it didn't, and it depressed sales. The same thing happened to Assassin's Creed: Unity. Similarly it caused the publisher to want a change in direction.

I highly doubt it can run the games off the discs (especially Gamecube which has a specialized disc). Instead you run the emulation and load in the digital software.
