Do you spend much time around kids? Because I’m my experience, the kids that develop emotional regulation early become much better problem solvers than the ones that don’t pick it up until later, if at all. What you’re describing is a cultural phenomenon, not an evolutionary one.

I think you’re kind of missing the point. For kids, the spilled milk, or the missing toy ARE the important events. They just lack the emotional regulation and life experience to put those things into context. The lives of children and adolescents are just as rich, and in some cases more so than adults. The idea that

I guess. After playing though with both a titan and a hunter, I’m perfectly fine not having to run the campaign and expansions for a third time. I’m excited at the prospect of playing new content, with a new character, without having to replay a ton of stuff I’ve already done. Twice. Obviously I like Destiny, but

I’m actually pretty excited they included the character boost option with this update. I haven’t played as a warlock yet, but the idea of having to replay 30 hours of campaign is a huge turn off. Assuming it’s free of cost to do so.

God, I haven’t watched that video in ages. I loved that song so much when I was a kid.

I feel like this is the only situation where “Actually, it’s about ethics in gaming journalism” is the correct, non-douchey thing to say.

“So there I was, minding my own business, when ALL OF A SUDDEN, I’m following a black guy for two miles and calling him racial slurs.”

I misread that as”milking eggs” and now my brain feels really gross.

I kept thinking that the story read like a Cohen Brothers film.

Thank god for that, right?

Well played.

I used the word “gaylord” in like, 1989 and my mom wasn’t having any of that crap. She genuinely made me feel ashamed of myself for it.

Also the same fanbase that elected Paul Wellstone, Keith Ellison, Jesse Ventura and Al Franken.  Also, Alan Page was a Minnesota Supreme Court judge for like, fifteen years.

Minnesota is a conceal carry state, but not open carry. Seeing someone brandishing a firearm in Minneapolis is definitely an “Oh shit, call the cops” situation. That being said, if this call had come in about a white guy in southwest Minneapolis, instead of a black guy over north, well.... that’s pretty much the

You’re not wrong. I don’t necessarily have a huge problem with police shooting an armed suspect who’s running from them. The problem for me is that it’s always minorities who are getting shot. They get shot for running, walking, sitting still, and minding their own damn business. It doesn’t seem to matter. Yet

Like, if Roseanne didn’t want to get tossed out, why did she gleefully crawl into the trash can?

This looks awesome. I only just started watching with the second campaign, and I really like everyone involved. Their group dynamic is pretty fun to watch.

Life Force on the old NES was pretty much my favorite thing ever. I always figured the two games were like, cousins or something.

I’ve actually thought about reading the comics from the first campaign just to get a better sense of that story. I made it a point to watch the first five or six episodes before switching over to the podcast. It’s just so much easier to listen to than watch. If I’ve got a project I’m working on sometimes it’s nice to

That’s... really disappointing. I just started listening to Critical Role when the new campaign started. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty great.
