Also the same fanbase that elected Paul Wellstone, Keith Ellison, Jesse Ventura and Al Franken. Also, Alan Page was a Minnesota Supreme Court judge for like, fifteen years.

Minnesota is a conceal carry state, but not open carry. Seeing someone brandishing a firearm in Minneapolis is definitely an “Oh shit, call the cops” situation. That being said, if this call had come in about a white guy in southwest Minneapolis, instead of a black guy over north, well.... that’s pretty much the…
You’re not wrong. I don’t necessarily have a huge problem with police shooting an armed suspect who’s running from them. The problem for me is that it’s always minorities who are getting shot. They get shot for running, walking, sitting still, and minding their own damn business. It doesn’t seem to matter. Yet…
Like, if Roseanne didn’t want to get tossed out, why did she gleefully crawl into the trash can?
This looks awesome. I only just started watching with the second campaign, and I really like everyone involved. Their group dynamic is pretty fun to watch.
Life Force on the old NES was pretty much my favorite thing ever. I always figured the two games were like, cousins or something.
I’ve actually thought about reading the comics from the first campaign just to get a better sense of that story. I made it a point to watch the first five or six episodes before switching over to the podcast. It’s just so much easier to listen to than watch. If I’ve got a project I’m working on sometimes it’s nice to…
That’s... really disappointing. I just started listening to Critical Role when the new campaign started. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty great.
Is that a thing? I really hope that’s not a thing, but it probably is...
I’ll have to check this out a bit later. I’m getting ready to DM for my first time too, so this is right up my alley. I’ve been listening to a lot of Critical Role lately, and have kind of had D&D on my mind just in general. I’m looking forward to just making it happen, and hopefully everyone will have fun.
Hey Kirk, great article. How do you feel about the idea that Snoke’s Praetorian Guard are infact The Knights of Ren? In TLJ, Luke outright says that Kylo killed the other students, but took some with him. Wouldn’t it make sense that Snoke would in turn take them from Kylo? There was kind of an intimacy during Rey and…
Right? This kid is obviously an incredible young woman, but why on Earth should she be forced to demonstrate that under these circumstances? It’s completely insane that we would put that responsibility on a child, instead of collectively sharing that burden so no family would ever be put in that position.
This is true. That being said, hospital staff are a huge resource for law enforcement, and this cop damaged that relationship while trying to break the law (and hospital policy) on a national stage. They probably would’ve shit-canned him no matter what. Cops play that “super predator” shit every time some unarmed…
It sounds like SOMEBODY went to Big Words School and majored in Being A Big Dumb Jerk On The Internet.
There’s actually a really good article about the cost of making games somewhere on this site. I think Jason posted it. I’m actually pretty comfortable with how most games have handled micro transactions and loot boxes. Games are incredibly expensive to make, and I’m not the only person who wants them to remain…
Well actually... orcs are just nasty, brutish fallen elves.
Would you like to show us on the doll where the loot box touched you?
Panel lines and a flat coat is pretty much all I ever do. I’m always happy with the results.
I felt the same way until I just picked one up and started working on it. It’s a cool hobby, and I’m lucky that my wife has been really supportive of me filling the house with gundam kits. I would recommend a master grade 1/100 kit if you can find something cheap on amazon.
High fuckin’ five, man.
