Yeah, it’s not some “angry woman trope” issue here. Because of the sped up plot of the last two seasons they didn’t really do a good job of developing just why Daenarys loses it in that exact moment, but the seeds of her going “Mad Queen” had been laid out throughout the show. Also, it’s not because she’s a woman so…

because clearly the season 2 quote, “i am dany targ and will take what is mine through fire and blood” gave us NO foreshadowing. nor did the parallels betwen her dad killing ned’s dad and brother and her killing sam’s dad and brother. not to mention all the stuff in between those 2 CLEAR indicators.

Bran wargs into the dragon burns everybody then puts wheels on the iron throne and rolls around Westeros creepily staring at people.

Yeah, it was super-cowardly of him to let her find out that way.  He was my roommate at the time and when we would watch the show he was just ashen, knowing how bad it was.

All I’m going to say is that I wish The Bachelor/Ette enterprise goes back to the Trista/Ryan model where they feature older adults - not women who are mostly 21-28 and men 25-33. It makes for MUCH better conversation, humor, and maturity - and the drama is still there - but not douchebags who are clearly NOT ready to…

A friend of mine went on one of the Bachelorette rip-off shows that were popular 10-15 years ago.  He “went on a break” from his GF to film the show, with the understanding that he was doing the show as a lark to be on TV, and they’d carry on as before when he got back.  She was fine with it, until the show aired and…

I wasn’t too thrilled about Hereditary, and this isn’t doing much for me. I get that it’s a horror movie and people make dumb decisions, but if I HAD to go to a festival, that shit better have corporate branding all over and a website, at least. Anything less than that, it’s a cult.

My grandparents are from Sweden and I am very into witchcraft and Norse pagan religions and this movie looks like a horrifying bastardization of all that I hold sacred and I AM HERE FOR IT.
