This sounds like a bargain for a huge event.
It would be great if there was a great racing venue in the greater Los Angeles area but temporary solutions are more palatable to the NIMBY crowd.

Jalopnik writing a 20 second long piece on some dude who obviously wasn’t paying attention (Seriously the car barley swerved left and he tanked it into a ditch instead of slightly correcting.... wtf?) instead of properly covering whats going on with F1 right now... is the issue with the site in 2021. There is so much…
It’s not the American taxpayers responsibility to bail you out from a bad financial choice.
because tricking children into high interest loans in the name of higher education isn’t the same as you buying a home or car as an adult with your rate determined by your credit score.
The vast majority of these projects releasing right now are from studios outside of the Riot culture. Besides, most research I’ve done lately has indicated that Riot has been making significant strides in the right direction, such as increasing the number of women in leadership roles. People are generally less…
I’m not removing and replacing the tag every time I get in and out. If something serious happens, they can check the damn car.
I think the issue is not whether or not the concept is cool, but whether the actual execution is cool. Personally, I’d love to see them do this setup but keep the interior closer to stock. The modern wheel and seats stand out in a bad way.
It doesn’t take a crystal ball to see where things go from here — just a passing look at what happened a decade ago.
FORD:
Re 1st - neither the Lightning nor the electric Transit are actually being delivered to customers yet. I can’t find anything on the order queue for the Transit, but the F-150 Lightning is sold out for the foreseeable future. So Reuters talking about how Ford is facing “pushback” from “some” fleet customers and…
Obviously these type of dealership do not believe in long term relationship. They will be the first one to cry over direct selling model like Tesla, which hopefully become more popular down the road.
I don’t think the i3 was too early. It was just too ugly. Too many companies fell into the trap of thinking they needed to make their EV look like it came from some crazy irobot future. Just make a regular looking car that happens to be EV and it will sell. That is why Tesla won.
If the guy painted it and put some decent rims/tires on it’d look amazing.
Importantly, it looks quite good, too.
Wait, why aren’t they expanding on the cute E styling??
I had both, and the HHR was the better vehicle...for ME. I bought the CORRECT version, a 2LT model with a moonroof, which helped with the ‘submarine’ driving impression. The larger 2.4 Ecotec had a lot more power, too.
I still don’t get who the HHR was intended for. People who don’t like being able to see out of their cars perhaps?
This. I’m not a fan of many things about Tesla but they ushered in a new era.
Bad take. Without Tesla we would still be waiting for the “big 3" to release an electric car. Before Tesla there was not a single Electric car i would ever consider driving. By showing the world that electric could be stylish, fast, and easy enough to own Tesla kicked the auto world into the next century.
As bad as the PT Cruiser was, the Chevrolet HHR was more shameful. GM literally just hired the designer from Chrysler and had him make an even uglier version of the same car 5 years after the original was surprisingly popular.
