It’s definitely not gonna be this one. This is the worst new EV I’ve seen in a long time.

I’m interested to see which EVs from this new crop end up selling well and coming out on top.

A 2+2 crossover with suicide doors and 175mi range is going to go over like a lead balloon. What the hell are Mazda thinking? This is like something from the Crap Era, when EVs were weird and impractical. Mazda knows how to make a decent car that Americans will buy, so why did they make this instead?

It seems like Tesla’s dominance in the Norwegian market is more directly related to its ability to ship and deliver vehicles to customers there, as opposed to customer preferences.

Tesla ends up doing the most deliveries in every market in the last month of a quarter. Every quarter has been the same for years.

What ever. I’m not listening to somebody who did more to end the samurai than Matt Perry.

How many people bought Teslas because of Consumer Reports or the NHTSA rating? Like 4?

No bet. The spread is too wide on potential supply chain failures or a major design flaw showing up vs enough attention to detail neither happens and they go to three shifts to meet demand.

So, like the “starting price” of every car ever advertised?

Just reach over the side of your F-150 bed — yeah, if you’re 6 foot 8.

The one you want actually want is going to be $55-60K. The $40K one is going to be for the power company guys to drive around looking at poles, in plain white, black vinyl bench seat with no air conditioning. Probably not THAT stripped, but probably not far from it.

I was all excited but wooow is 230 miles not that many miles. I get that these aren’t going to be used for Wildcat drivers but I’d like to at least be able to make a 90 minute each way round trip in one.

I, for one, kinda like it. It’s like a Demolition Man van is reality and I’ll be able to buy one! Now I just need everything to be sponsored by Taco Bell.

I sat in a sub-$40K C class when my wife was SUV shopping, and I was very disappointed. Crappy hard plastic all over the place...

While Mark's beef with the author for discussing a video by a famous car personality is a bit misplaced, you really don't have a point here. The video you posted literally has the guy tearing off multiple panels to get to the battery.

These dashboards look like they could come from any anonymous GM vehicle. So bulbous and round. I’m sure touching them would put that to bed quickly, but design wise there’s not much there. So much tan. So much black.

I’m still waiting for someone to write that the NTSB has concluded that someone was behind the wheel of the Texas crash and that autopilot would not engage on that street.

Also, the Leaf doesn’t charge its 12V battery unless it is actively charging or running. However, replacement is trivial.

I’m saying Shilling is full of crap and I am calling him on his B.S.

Wow Erik, no mention of how the Mach E had a similar problem, only worse as it stops charging it’s 12v battery at all when plugged in
