I have always maintained that there would be more vegetarians and vegans if we had to butcher the meat ourselves. I know that the first time I slaughtered a goat I was in tears for hours. If I had to do that on a regular basis, I would be vegetarian. Children should be aware of where their food comes from.

I don't know. I was actually really self sufficient otherwise. I am not one to bother my parents all that much. She would just call and remind me to eat every now and then. I got used to it and eat regularily now. There is a reason I am as skinny as a twig.
