Yes. Wage inequality is definitely terrible. No argument from me there. Huge problem IMO and something that absolutely drives my economic viewpoint vis-a-vis my political point of view. But…

How about “cult”?

3rd Gear (first one): What happened to the GM-Honda relationship? That suddenly seems to have soured. With their collaboration on fuel cells, Indycar hybrids, and EVs, it looked like they were getting closer and closer*. Then all of a sudden they decided to end the EV relationship and GM is working with Hyundai. And

This is 100% false.

Slides 9, 10 + 11... Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses.”

From both a practical and theoretical, standpoint a VAT and sales tax are the same. VAT has the advantage and disadvantage of requiring more legwork (advantage: harder to commit tax fraud; disadvantage: more paperwork). But in the end, the same burden falls to the consumer. You can argue that VAT helps low margin

Same. Although I need to some improvement in reliability from Rivian, which while likely, is not assured.

So the engine is complex. There are cars running around with hundreds of thousands of miles. Once again, just because it is complex, does not mean it is unreliable. It is called ‘good engineering’.

We bought a Rav4 (regular) hybrid back in March. We got a few thousand off of MSRP.

You are 100% correct. Hydrogen only becomes viable when there is an overabundance of (clean) energy to make it from water. Problem with nuclear is that it is so fucking expensive. They basically wouldn’t be able to build a plant without massive tax breaks/subsidies. The plant they are building in Georgia is a black

Complexity does not necessarily mean poor reliability. Especially in the examples of hyrbrids/plugins...

Beat me to it.

I randomly had one as a rental for a trip from Miami, down to the Keys, and back. A midsize pickup truck was actually the cheapest vehicle they had at Enterprise…somehow cheaper than a compact. Figured we would get a Frontier*, but got one of these instead, which was kinda neat because a Wrangler was probably one of

Yeah, rallying makes sense. Just not sure how it helps you on the street.

Surprised the Pathfinder is on this list.

Just want to know how this works…you are braking with your left foot. How do you press the clutch?

Back up cameras should be added to that list. Anyone who has ever reversed in a busy school/daycare parking lot and still thinks backup cameras are bad, need to get their heads examined.

Yes. Let’s get rid of something that saves lives so that the 1% (or less) of proper left-brakers can drive their cars like a racecar on the street. Do you left foot brake in a manual car? Why? If your answer is something other than “It helps me go faster around a race course” it’s not a valid reason.

Say autonomous cars are like 95% effective in the snow/ice. What happens the other 5% of the time?...a human has to take over. Now here is a human who hasn’t been driving in a while; maybe months; maybe years, because the car has been doing it. Have you ever seen what happens when the first snow storm of the year hits
