It might be smart of them to differentiate their name from Apple's, but they don't have to by any means. You can't trademark (what you're selling) + 'store' - that's just ridiculous.

And there's a problem with that? They got $65 million for doing nothing. And they weren't satisfied.

In a way they're regressing. Like how I could watch it amazingly on my Playbook browser, then one day "it doesn't support this device" - I promptly stopped paying for their service, which had a limited selection at best anyways.

In the Gadget Deals of the Day on Giz, there's a core i5 with 6 GB RAM for $550. If you have the money to spare, you'll probably me amazed at how much faster it is. It will also come with Windows 7 for free.

The Playbook QNX OS is absolutely on par, if not better, than iOS and Android. The fact that they're releasing Blackberry OS 7 rather than working their ass off to get the QNX OS on their phones boggles my mind.

It's actually on the schedule already - the QNX system on the Playbook is phenomenal and going to be ported to the phones. After Blackberry OS 7.

Thankfully, I'm shallow enough that I didn't even find the 'after' pics attractive...

a MUCH better OS? Than the QNX one? Are you serious? You obviously haven't had one. The OS is at worst, as good as iOS and Android. IMHO, it's easily the best.

I'm not sure if you've heard of Joseph Gordon Levitt's collaborative production company hitrecord.org, but it's pretty neat. Since you've pretty much done everything already, it's probably not what you're looking for, but it might be possible for you to find some leads.

"5. Developers hate making BlackBerry apps"

I'm not so sure about that - a while back my friends and I caught a shrew in my basement and put it in a Gatorade bottle. We let it out when they left only a few hours after catching it - it didn't move and laid there gasping for air. The next morning it was gone but I have a feeling another hour or so and he wouldn't

That sucks... We're promised 15mbps and I tested mine at 22 last night.

I'll back up what bokscutter says. I have a pair of Sennheiser hd280's and use them for:

My iPhone 3gs 16 GB - Amazon: $236 Best Buy: $168 Gazelle: $219

I have a feeling they wouldn't be content with $10 million, but rather use it to allow them to do whatever their ambitions may be. Because their father is Bill Gates, I have a feeling their ambitions might be a bit higher than most people, but that's just me.

See my above comment.

@Elzeard and a few others...

I have a feeling they'll be a little more motivated than that.

Someone should then create an app that allows you to 'lock' the phone so they can see only what's on the screen, maybe with some other options like locking to a certain app for someone to use. Probably not possible on iPhone with jailbreaking, but a good idea I think.
