And I hope you never do. This was such a wild, daring, and ambitious project for General Motors during a time when they were cranking out dull, forgettable garbage. 

THIS is how you do a weird vehicle. It still is fully functional, has it’s weird quirks, and will always turn heads.

Nor should you.

I loved the MX-3, and when I was like 13 I really wanted to get one as a project to get running by the time I could drive. There were several available at the time (circa 2004-ish) for a couple hundred dollars that did not run. My dad said no.

I’ll never apologize for this.
