They (the people in charge and instructors) are all ridiculously cool- at least the events I’ve been in. Really understand the nerves and make newbs feel safe and confident. Really bring down the intimidation factor.  Most tracks will make you drive w/ an instructor if it’s your first time.

On a scale of One to Gary Busey, how unnerving is it? Like, I am an okay driver, not great. I’ve done some autocross. I really like it. But there's no real risks involved.
