This. Rear facing seats are safer when the vehicle was designed for them to be there in the first place. Putting extra seats where none were supposed to go can go very badly for you.
To be clear: This is directed at the people who made those graphs.
It’s not just the devices themselves. It’s the deliberate design choices that force you to spend more money to get actual functionality. From weird ports to weird plugs, it’s kind of ludicrous.
That’s a much tougher question. If it was a “regular” car, maybe. But there’s basically none of these in the world. So if you’re in the market for one, I think you kinda have to take what’s available. Or be very, very patient. Or find someone who owns one and nag them to sell.
