I read every word of it. And I’m honestly appreciative of your debate. Because I read the start of it, saw it was about body armor sales, and dropped it prematurely.

I found that. My issue with that is that it is an *International* organization. And that document does not specify how particular members voted on those positions. Nitpicking, sure, but my inner cynic demands it.

Do you know how many gun stores there are in Mexico? Because the answer is... two. Two gun stores in the country. And buying one takes months of paperwork.

No, I think you’d see the police calling for gun control right quick.

I mean, it’s definitely both.  And it’s societal, too.

I live in the USA. Alfa Romeo was not doing business here for most of my life. I remember seeing ONE while growing up, and even that wasn’t up close. And it was definitely one of the latter-day Alfas prior to their departure, so the emblem may have actually rusted off the thing.

I mean, I’d be happy to just ban all guns but I don’t think that’s gonna happen any time soon, despite mountains of evidence for it’s efficacy in reducing violent crime and improving police relations.

Excellent work that will go criminally under-appreciated, no doubt.

Don’t defund the police. Just disarm them.  Take those guns away and see how they treat strangers who may or may not be armed.

Not only is that grille-logo ugly as hell, it ruined the Alfa logo for me. I always thought it was fire coming out of the dragon’s mouth. A fire-breathing dragon is objectively rad as hell.
