Big same. I've been looking for a cheap way to try out an EV. I toyed with an i3 when they were like $12k, and kind of regret it. This seems like a more "rational" car than the i3 on paper. Maybe they'll be okay for a few years before they start falling apart?

If I had any actual artistic skill, I could probably draw the back end of the R33 from memory thanks to all the Gran Turismo I played as a kid such that you’d recognize it.

I’m curious how representative this situation will be of future orphaned EV models. I imagine there will be a decent number of them in the next five to ten years as startups get weeded out due to tightening competition.

Honest question, if you don’t mind my asking - What is it like over there? We don’t hear anything much here in the US, unless it’s something awful happening, and that’s certainly not representative of real life.
