AoU certainly wasn’t as good as Avengers. As good as Joss Whedon is, I believe that Marvel just wanted him to stuff more and more into the movie, which impacted his plans. I believe this is why he ultimately decided to part ways with Marvel, interference. Whedon was not happy with the finished product and it showed in

So what’s it like living in 1994?

$7?? What third world country do you live in?

That horrible wig increases it by six trillion. I get it’s supposed to be horrible (?) but it’s the wrong kind of horrible in the trailers. Every time I see him I’m not “character choice” but “Why the hell did a gazillion dollar movie use a package Halloween wig?”

I honestly had no problem with his “I love money” speech. Hell, I’d be doing the same thing! “Here’s a career where your good looks will earn you a ton of cash and you don’t have to do much that’s morally reprehensible!”

It might be like how one girl is targeted as “slutty” even though she doesn’t have any more sexual experience then other girls in her school, or somebody with actually pretty mild acne gets ragged as a pizza face. Sometimes you only have to be a half step behind for the pack to turn on you, and it’s really easy to

And that bugs me a lot. Lex is supposed to be supremely confident and smart, not spastic and awkward.

I don’t know if I’m reading a different quote than everyone else. The quote I’m seeing says that the art was not the only reason he got into acting. Funny thing is, he’s just being honest in all of these quotes. There’s nothing overly offensive about anything he said, he’s just not smart enough to censor himself.

I sort of read that statement to mean that it’s somewhat racist to assume that black academy members will automatically vote for black actors, and that any solution to the dearth of black nominees that consists of simply adding more black academy members would thus be relying on that same sorta-kinda racist assumption

Jesse Eisenberg is just awkward in general and everytime I see him in anything I get that secondhand embarrassment.

Jesse Eisenberg just seems so, so awkward in the trailer. I honestly had secondhand discomfort.

I dunno. I was bumped up to first class once and I still go on about it, ten years later.

That makes sense for Superman, though, right? Powerful, handsome, white, bland as fuck.

I don’t quite understand why Cavill stating that he enjoys the money or the benefits of his current profession should be considered a bad thing? Especially since he does state it’s not just for the love of acting or money, but both.

If it was fake, I think he would have mentioned that to Jen G. Because they seem to be in regular contact, so I have no doubt that she mentioned it to him.

JAMES MARSDEN IS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS

Judy Greer! She’s so great and funny. It’s sad that she’s always been relegated to sidekick roles.

Its also my favorite. I actually like all of the characters in it. Especially woman who played depressed intern in What Women Want.

I’m not much for romantic comedies. But 27 Dresses is one I love. I can’t explain it. I don’t like calling things guilty pleasures since I like so many objectively awful things that I couldn’t handle all the guilt. But it’s close to that.

I have a disproportionate amount of Heigl-hate but man I love me some 27 Dresses.
