This is what bothered me more than the wait times.  Literally before getting to the title screen you have to manually scroll through 42 pages of license agreement and 28 pages of privacy agreement.  Like....was that really THAT necessary?

Also, 42 pages of license agreement and 28 pages of privacy statement that you have to page thru one by one.

“This isn’t crack, your honor. They’re fun boulders, and they’re something that have been a part of life for years, whether they’re fish scales or pebbles or snowballs. It’s really a common part of life.”

Why are they making such a point to say that the loot boxes “are fun and enjoyable for people”? It’s not like that was ever part of this legal discussion. When I was in court for *allegedly* selling crack to 12 year olds I wasn’t all “but you know your honor, the kids really enjoy crack, it makes em feel good.”

Weird how people still play games they like and are actually good, huh?

“We don’t call them loot boxes,” Hopkins began her response, adding that EA instead refers to them as “surprise mechanics.”

I would tell you that Electronic Arts already is a very responsible company.”

Ethical Arts

There’s a massive difference in creating fan art and asking to get credit for your interpretation of that fan art and some rich chode reposting art and FLAT OUT REFUSING to credit the artist especially when he literally has to pay a settlement from doing the same thing to another person.

This is the most infuriating thing. The man isn’t stupid, he’s had his hands in creating some impressive stuff. But then he turns around and does the dumbest crap like this.

You have to judge vita games though the lens of being portable titles, in which case they were of a pretty high quality in many cases, just like the PSP before them.

Actually it was known as the sony/psp/vita tax. Any game from a franchise that was also on console, even if not the same game, was docked points for not being the exact same quality.

This is true. But even with with these issues, its still better than the the trash that is Fortnite.

Too late.

Can’t wait to play it next year on my Xbox One 2.

It’s a shame that so many people will write this off due to it being an Epic Store exclusive on PC. The trailers for the game on YouTube have been hammered by dislikes and angry comments, and while I absolutely understand why people are upset, I hope the game can move past its reputation and reach a wider audience.

Because this is an obvious use case that they should have anticipated. They put on a massive sale with large numbers of discounts, people coming in and gobbling a bunch of them up is a logical thing to account for.

It's called "news". It's silly to choose to interpret it as hate.

Epic, buying up every exclusive and banning you for trying to get a deal on it.
