I was referring to a swap - many of these have an S50 or S52 swapped into them (S38 as well but those are uncommon). Those seem to fetch this kind of price much more regularly. The AWD is actually a detractor too, the market seems to prefer the RWD ones.

That is solid E36/E46 M3 and even E34 M5 pricing . That’s a hefty premium for  Euro Wagon Braggin’ rights. Plus the Xdrive does nothing for me and Calif smog would be an ongoing PITA. ND

How intrusive are the driver assist features, and how well does the infotainment work?

A dude on the 4:20 flight to Amsterdam was super hungry? I couldn’t make that up if I tried.

I must have the wrong career, wrong job or am bad at money. I can’t imagine having a $1000 car payment on a single vehicle. No way it would fit in my budget.

No love for the buttery-smooth 3.0L M60 V8 from BMW? I’d love to find a pristine 530i with three pedals (hopefully with the Alusil block).
