How can one respect anything a car”expert” says who drives a Honda fit? He clearly hates Musk but as an economic analyst he leaves much to be desired. I get the impression that he has shorted tesla and is desperately hoping not to lose his shirt. To base all his conclusions on one month’s sales in the U.S. is

They don't have pop out handles on the Model 3! Troll alert

Why on earth criticize the echo for not having good sound? plug it into a sound system. I have mine plugged into stereo systems, sound bars, surround sound home theater systems etc. You get much better sound that way than Apples overpriced Homepod

Amen.the old S series used to be great cars. The newer ones have so many bells and whistles that can and will go wrong that used models out of warranty are money pits (as are ALL Audi’s)

Only problem is fitting into it if you are over 6foot

From a design viewpoint the classic has to be the original Passat. With a V6 and 4Motion it was also fun to drive. Unfortunately it also had Audi/VW electronics. The Mercedes 560SEC also still looks impressive. Although it was so desirable that it was almost impossible to insure if you lived in an urban area

“The Performance had much tighter steering”! RTFM the steering effort is adjustable (together with the acceleration and the level of regenerative braking). You can save those settings together with the mirrors etc.. The Performance had tighter steering because the previous driver had chosen it

Unless there are A/B blind tests of the competing formats the evaluations are meaningless. Funny how we never see those though? Could it be because all of these"experts" wouldn't be able to actually distinguish between them?

Nobody is forcing you to read the article

You charge the EV while you sleep. So it takes much less of YOUR time than an ICE.  And 90 percent of people drive less than 10000 miles per year.Ask yourself when you last drove more than 300 miles in a day. There are things called airplanes

Tesla isn’t losing money on every car. From an economist’s viewpoint they are investing in building capacity. With several hundred thousand reservations still outstanding and their competitors “announcing production” (in two years time) Tesla is actually looking in pretty good shape. Remember when Jalopnik and all the

That's funny because EAP Enhanced Auto Pilot is NOT standard it is a $5000 option.

Yes you obviously are since it DOES disconnect the autopilot if you ignore warnings. Autopilot is meant to assist you. It is explicitly NOT Autonomous driving

Yes those pilots routinely take off and land without being near the controls. I have a Model 3 and the screen warns you repeatedly about autopilot's limitations and the driver's responsibilities. Sounds as if she almost won Darwin's lottery

Oh yes we really should have followed Martin’s plot line. Oh wait, it still wouldn’t have been finished yet.

I don’t know what camera s you are using but all the micro 4/3 cameras (Panasonic. Olympus etc) use standard sd cards.

Anyone who is lucky enough to have a Wegmans in the area would never go anywhere else. One prediction. If Tesla ever gets into real trouble Musk will sell to Apple, Google or Amazon. Then the ICE companies would be dead

All this criticism of Musk for not focusing all his attention on building model 3 s is idiotic. Hasn’t anybody heard of delegation?

I playSpotify premium in stereo on any of my 8 echo dots around the house via assorted HiFi s and soundbars. I use the echo in the kitchen as a timer. I use the echo s in the bedrooms as alarm clocks, white noise generators and intercoms. I get weather forecasts anywhere in the house. No use for it? Nonsense

Absolute nonsense.after 200000 miles a model S Tesla has lost 15 percent of its capacity and owners report that a major ADVANTAGE is that you plug it in at night and then never have to go by a gas station again
