I think very few people say they "miss" their cars when they live in New York City.

Women are making more than their male counterparts; just not among the olds who believed in all sorts of fucked up shit like segregation and Reaganomics. If you're an educated women in your twenties, you're likely earning more than an educated man in his twenties. That might seem some small consolation to old women,

While poverty is a persistent problem for many families, to suggest that childcare costs are an impossible obstacle to overcome devalues the struggles of the single parents of the world who inevitably find a solution.

While under-employment is a terrible reality, the choice to become a mother prior to achieving the necessary skills or education level to enter into the workforce at a rate that exceeds the price of childcare is still a choice, and one that represents the luxury of staying at home.

The stay at home spouse ceased to be a career when Americans could no longer expect to achieve a middle class lifestyle on a single income. The stay at home spouse as career is a luxury now reserved for the very highest income earners — and its just that, a luxury. No career path is closed to women or men today, but

Good. They can withdraw from society and live in their isolated God village while the rest of the world moves on.

I've never denied that racism isn't still prevalent. Its pretty much everywhere all the time.

Yes.

I am familiar with coded language. Perhaps if you haven't, you should read the not very light reading The Instance of the Letter in the Unconscious by Lacan, or the equally not very light reading, Course in General Linguistics based on Saussure's lectures.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what you said when you said: "K, Cool Story. Go on White Savior Child. We need more people telling POC their life experiences."

So, do tell, what is authentic black identity?

So far I haven't seen anyone define their identity other than to say "not racist!" like its the new "no homo!" and that includes anyone of color.

There has largely been the assumption that "thug" and "ghetto" must be by definition referring to black Americans. So the question of normative concern would ordinarily be: what is black identity if black identity is or is not "thug" and "ghetto"?
