Sounds like you've never been to Manhattan where the name of the game is wasting resources on things with no inherent value.

What this map doesn't take into account is the political and economic factors that determine long term protective measures. Any land in New York harbor will eventually be protected by massive seawalls; far too much land value would be lost if Manhattan island or the surrounding land were to shrink.
Brilliant. This will make an excellent soundtrack for a party.
Because its hazelnut.
I saw the previews with the tree and the leaves but didn't realize they had anything to do with the plot. My main thought was: is this another film where Eddie Murphy dresses up like an old white, Jewish man? Then I realize that Coming to America is the only Eddie Murphy film I can name, mostly because of the bathtub…
The "bus" part of that is what's wrong.
France shows a consistent devotion to "civilization" which is so desperately lacking in the United States.
British television "series" have like 6 episodes. Is this really a commitment on the actors behalf? Its not like signing on for 24 episodes.
Maybe I've just thought this through a little more than most people, but I would assume a sterile profile would be filled in with all the "right" information. Friends, but only those in the industry you are working in; plenty of likes, but only of good, family oriented products like American cheese single slices;…
This is obviously invasive and probably needs federal legislation protecting individuals' rights to privacy. However, until that time, simply create a sterile account for job interviews and school sports teams to monitor.
I do this all the time. I'm really good at looking up tradespeople on the internet, calling, setting up an appointment, and letting them do the work.
These rejected items are just further proof that the Star Wars universe would be better off with George Lucas in a galaxy far, far away. He gave a thumbs up to Jar Jar Binks but rejected the Bespin desk lamp? Come on, George.
I thought the premise of Battle Royale was though that the crap government existed because people were starving. I'm working off of memory here from like two years ago, so maybe I'm just imputing some expectation that future governments are the result of dystopian wastelands.
Is it really different that a Japanese author set his story in a Japanese wasteland while and American author set hers in an American wasteland? I might be inclined to think the difference would be if one of them had set the story in a "foreign" setting rather than envisioning a horrific wasteland in their homeland…
I rather be judgmental than wrong.
I have absolutely every expectation that any future woman I marry would keep her own family name. If not because she wants to keep her identity, but because I expect any woman I were to marry to have her own successful career where name changing halfway through would hurt. But that's alright if midwesterners look down…
These people should try eating some fresh vegetables and fruit, and they'd probably look younger and healthier than with all this plastic surgery.
What can you really expect from a Klingon. A Klingon!
Well, in fairness cops aren't exactly known for their counting skills above 10.
In the past, I have given money to friends walking or running in these events. However, going forward I will politely decline to contribute to Komen but intend to offer making a Planned Parenthood contribution in their name.
