If I recall, the EU series Bounty Hunter Wars did portray Boba Fett as someone with a code especially when it come to matters of debt. I don’t see how that is out of character.

Even if you could inspect something four or five…

On one hand, this sucks. Kind of wish it goes on longer and they take more time with it. The universe definitely has room for more story.

On the other hand, dramas have a general tendency to fall off a cliff after 5-6 seasons. Look at Lost, GOT, Walking Dead, the 100 etc
