Absolutely. It’s not a bad idea in any way. I’m just sad that it isn’t more. Mine was on;y able to offer me three sessions and didn’t provide any real help. But I was more stressed/depressed/anxious and not at risk of self harm.

Unfortunately many EAPs are limited to 3 sessions. It is great for stop-gap measures and certainly needed with suicidal ideation, but sadly not a real answer to a major problem.
