I know nothing of the East Oil Texas Mafia. The article refers to the Dixie Mafia. The Dixie Mafia was actually scary in the 70's and 80's. Now it's just a bunch of jackasses and old men. When those men were younger, they were probably pretty tough. Now they've got COPD or amputated feet from diabetes.

The Dixie Mafia is a very real, not at all scary entity that still counts small numbers is Northern Louisiana and Southwestern Mississippi.
