Exactly. Where did armed and dangerous enter the scenario? Even if it WAS stolen this is a ridiculous police response. ACAB

We can add Kei trucks to the growing list of things that have more rights than women in Texas.

There needs to be a special license and higher fees to drive an SUV or Pickup. There are too many of them, being driven by people that can’t handle the size and weight of such a vehicle, and driving up the costs of said vehicles for people that actually need them - mainly applies to pickups.

Most SUV coupes - someone chose to pay more for a less practical, uglier version of the landcow sitting across the showroom.

The only order I need on the interstate is you moving to the right.

>>>And a car website employees that use their job as a way to spread their political views, should be fired.

Don’t forget - they’re bigoted assholes, too.

Unions push UP wages for both union and non union with the same sector. Loads of data. https://www.epi.org/publication/briefingpapers_bp143/

To anyone with basic reading comprehension skills, it’s clear that Trump is anti-worker and anti-union.

And by rich, I mean old-money-not-scared-to-grease-politician’s-palms rich.

Jalopnik, I’m out.

Because the infrastructure to charge cars here is still a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way off from being adequate. Only very rich people would be able to afford any kind of PHEV. And again, flex fuel works just fine without the electricity and all the headaches that will bring in a few years’ time

In addition to Karen and myself, will Jayden, Fayden, Kayden and Grayson plus all their soccer, softball, and lacrosse gear, as well as our two dogs Pence and Desantis fit in this comfortably?

Exactly. That and it seems like we as the consumers are forced to do 100% of the “saving the environment” while corporations and shipping giants still get to pollute freely.

That seems to be the trend with a lot of these writers. Nothing is good enough except 100% EV. Reducing emissions and oil consumption through existing infrastructure and with something a common person can actually buy - not good enough! My recollection is sugar cane ethanol is a whole hell of lot more “green” than US

Are you seriously arguing that hybrid- probably plug-in hybrid, because that’s where the market is finding traction- ethenol-fueled cars that cost half what an EV costs are in some way a BAD thing?

Sugar Cane Cars are Beating Cars which Cost Twice as Much in Brazil

There are very obvious challenges to an EV grid in a very poor, very population dense country.

Personally, I think going full-EV is a bad idea and mandating it is an even worse idea. And I’m an EV owner. Getting rid of the pure-ICE vehicle isn’t a terrible idea, but not leaving room for efficient PHEVs and hybrids that better fit the needs of most American drivers is a huge mistake.
