40K Miles on the 2020 Nissan Leaf.

LOL wut? and have to deal with oil changes and buying gasoline? for some people, a BEV works, and the only maintenance is tires and brakes. That’s huge, even if you’re only getting the oil changed once a year in a PHEV, that’s still an entire ICE powertrain to maintain. I can’t wait until Bolts depreciate into ‘fuck

New cars - particularly from luxury or premium brands - have essentially been highly advanced computers on wheels for about 2 decades now.

Owners had until 1 p.m. to claim their damaged vehicles at Empower Field at Mile High.

If I had to buy one of these thing, I would buy a Pilot anytime over this, just because of the reliability aspect. I don’t think Kia is even close to Honda or Toyota on this topic.

It’s a Vogon construction coordinator doing a site survey.

We’re in Central Alberta. I walk or bike 5km to work everyday (even through our hellish winters). My wife walks or bikes 3km to work everyday. When our kids were little I walked them to school and then walked/rode to work. They walked home with friends. They maybe got driven a dozen times from K-Gr 5.

well listen here Trump. who the fuck wants to drive around Kentucky anyway? their charging infrastructure is just like their planned parenthood....non-existent. so fuck em.

Man, if only we could get these kinds of lawsuits going against firearms manufacturers, we’d be on the road to real firearm reform. Stall out the legislative process and bitch and whine about the 2nd amendment all you want, if Colt and S&W were getting their asses rightfully sued for all of the damage they facilitate,

The Millau Villaduct in France is absolutely breathtaking. I drove across it several years ago and it was one of the most stunning driving experiences of my life.

If I use both “bridge” and “drive” loosely, the most memorable span I have traversed is the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct in Wales. Boating ~130ft over a river in a narrowboat is quite an experience.

Lake Pontchartrain Causeway, because there’s nothing quite like being in the middle of a bridge where you can’t see land in any direction.

Now playing

This reminds me of a mine in England that uses similar idea but with a cable car setup. It’s also been running for nearly a century.

A new Leaf can be had for $29k. And it’s a much better drive than a Prius. Plus, zero gas at $5 a gallon.

Some things in this story don’t make sense to me.

No mention of charging. As much as Jalopnik hates on Tesla, the Model Y is still THE electric crossover. I am biased, as I have one (no, I’m not an Elon stan, he’s a dick). But the supercharger network alone is enough to make me suggest it.

Try theautopian.com. Torch AND David Tracy AND they got a ton of cool people to contribute too.

Uh, guys. That new one is the Kia Niro, not the Telluride. Here’s the facelifted Telluride. It would have been crazy to make it look less truck-y.
