Backing into my garage can often show a semi on top of me or a bunch of bikes running into my car. The semi is a wall. The bikes are hanging on the wall. My daughter swears she saw cats on the screen once. We don’t have garage cats.
Came for the “discount” story, left feeling click-baited. Boo.
The headlights are below disguised as fog lights.
It doesn’t solve the problem, but I use webcam covers over the cabin cameras. This also prevents FSD from being enabled, so win-win!
We have a couple Model Ys that we will pass down to our kids in a couple years. Anything that looks like a better replacement to my Model Y Performance is much more expensive - Ioniq5N, electric Macan, other performance EVs... So, begrudgingly, I will be looking at the next gen Y (Juniper). I assuming it will be…
Every single time I try FSD I am either disgusted by the lameness of it or horrified by the danger of it. They keep giving us free trials AND I keep hearing how it has improved AND I keep trying it, but I am not a fan. My wife also has been trying it and she just told me it almost wrecked her car because of a…
Thanks for the great article. Hope our Great Experiment can survive the latest pendulum swing.
6'3" here and I find German cars are easy to fit in and Japanese cars are not. I the latter can move the seat back far enough for my legs, but then the steering wheel doesn’t telescope out far enough. Wish those two could get together and form some sort of axis for reliable, tall people’s cars. Italy could help.
You could put a freaking picture of the cigs in the article? I had to google it and now I’m gonna get cigarette ads and probably start smoking!
He did promote her on his show, ya know.
Prob not, but I might worry about what they do to my car in service, through SW downloads, or other cyberfucking.
You have a lot of hate flowing in your veins.
What are the politics of the CEO of the company that produces the car you are replacing it with?
This is just more evidence that we are living in a simulation and AI is not completely able to fool us. More and more lately I’ve come to realize there is no way this bizarre-o world we are living it is real.
Can someone explain to me how this “German-market Volkswagen Crafter camper” is available in the US (and where to get one)?
Great read, thank you. I can’t recall the last time I enjoyed an article here so much. Makes me feel better about my “problems”. I suggest you screenplay it and wait for the royalty checks to roll in.
People do clear PPF on their cars all the time for much more. What about clear-bra? You could make the same argument. “Car owner spends $500 to make front of car look exactly the same.”
It should be “widely (sic) [sic]”. As in “widely” is a word that makes sense in the sentence. Are you thinking it should be “wildly”? They still make cars, so I don’t think the company has wildly changed. However, “(sic)” is not the standard. It should be in brackets - so... recursive sic.
