That’s a bs argument. If you were going to tear up the outback in a gas guzzler anyway, using the R1T is better. 95% of these will never leave the asphalt.

My 2022 Model Y’s suspension crashes over expansion joints and potholes. Simultaneously, the hatch causes a weird, booming, pressure sensation. Tesla has supposedly improved the suspension, but the hatch booming is ever present. There are some hacks online that have moderate success. I feel for the wave of Model Y…

Plus barely any of these cars qualify for the tax credit.  Only the cheapest RWD Tesla Model 3 and a Model Y with a third row (so it can count as a van).  The Model X and S don’t.  The Mach-E doesn’t.  The Kias and Hyundais don’t.  Some ID4, Bolts, and Leafs do.  It’s nonsense.

I miss Carspotting.

Snowed 6 feet overnight in Mammoth Lakes, CA.  Missed my flight home.  I guess it wasn’t that bad.

Pushing the seat down once every ~3 months is less of a hassle than taking it in. I’ll get it fixed when I have to take it in for service.

Coming up on a year in my Model Y.  The rear left seat doesn’t automatically drop with the electric switch like the right one does.  So, I have to lean forward and press it slightly with my hand to fold down.  That’s it.  F’ing lemon.

I feel like I should be pissed that I didn’t get radar in my Model Y, but I’m not. They removed it before I received my car and did not adjust the price down for removing features. Yikes! We got our 2020 Pilot EX-L/AWD/8-passenger seats for $37k (MSRP was $41k). I guess we’ll have to keep it forever.
