Maybe it was just an OG PS4 controller that’s rubber was already gone. Some people had their’s disintegrate in weeks because of the acidity of their hands and shoddy rubber.
Not a veteran of series but a veteran of gaming. The game is nice looking but aside from that like the other guy in comments is saying the mechanics and gameplay are garbage. Very boring button mashing game. Takes 0 skill. Just pound buttons and that’s it. Beta or not they would have to change too much to make it fun.

Sony are too busy making new games to worry about backwards compatibility that only appeals to a small portion of their user base. No thanks. Alternately at least put a filter on the straw end that’s going in your mouth. A paper towel should work or shove cotton in the straw unless you like the taste of ear wax. Or skip the straw and get one of these.
