How is breaking said law irresponsible when it's so easy to break and get away with? 99.99% of the time you WILL get away with illegal drug use. The authorities really only go after the occasional celebrity to make an example out of them once in while, or the idiots who aren't discrete about their illegal activity

"You do not 'trip balls' or 'freak out'"

It looks very professional, and I applaud the theme of overcoming bullying—bullying is a very real problem and we as a society need to take measures to stop it—but my concern is in how bullies are being portrayed as monsters when the reality is far more complex than that.

Umbasa.

And altering your state of consciousness is bad because? To quote Terence McKenna, "Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behaviour and

Using illegal drugs does not mean you are an irresponsible person. There are legal activities far more irresponsible than any illegal drug, such as drinking, or eating at McDonald's.

Arguing that everyone should be equally punished by an unjust law is only supporting said unjust law. It does nothing to fix the problem; it just ensures that even more people are subject to its disgusting punishments. A more productive response to this would have been to use it as an opportunity to call out all drug

Putting an effort into ensuring that everyone is punished by an unjust law isn't solving the problem, it's merely supporting said unjust law. You should be arguing for the repeal of drug laws and the end of the war on drugs, instead.

I mean, drug laws the world over are unjust. A nation will never stop being "too strict" until it ends its war on drugs altogether and allows people to freely use whatever they so desire on their own bodies.

The amount of homophobia in these comments is beyond sad.

Who's forgetting that we reproduce through heterosexual procreation, and why is reproducing through heterosexual procreation even relevant? The "pragmatic" population growth argument is asinine because homosexuals can't be "discouraged" from being homosexuals, and there will always be a certain portion of homosexuals

I disagree, good sir; there is no way Entei and Raikou are dogs.

Colour theory isn't that simple. I know video game fans tend to call for brighter colors because so many games tend to use the same or similar palette, but brighter colors can be just as ugly. See: http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/2006/10/color-…

Among white males, yes, but the point behind this isn't to make more programmers, but expand the diversity of programmers.

This is very important, I think. A lot of people are turned away from Computer Science because of the vile lie that being a programmer means that you can't be creative, or worse, *shouldn't* be creative, when, in reality, being a good computer scientist is probably one of the careers that requires a creative spirit

Roger Rabbit remains amazing to this day, and the Super Mario Bros. Movie was bad, but in a ludicrous, campy, so-bad-it's-good kind of way. RIP Bob.

One of the key points of his argument could be summed up as "it didn't provide any information that I could take away with me, only information about itself; therefore, it's a bad game, and I have no reason to play it," but I think that's a little too utilitarian of a way to approach art. I never "took anything away"

I agree that weight loss isn't the be all, end all (Weight loss, if anything, is a red herring), but for people who do have large quantities of body fat, they really do want to take in far fewer calories than 2k if they want to slim down. As you approach your size goal, you should gradually add more calories to your

I think that's why "weight loss" used in this context is a red herring. I'm guilty of using it too because it's so easy to do so, but your goal isn't to "lose weight," but to burn fat. You want to put on muscle weight as you lose fat weight for true health; this is why I don't own a scale.

I think you missed the point about protein supplements.
