Thanks for disregarding both of my responses and moving back to your agenda. I can see that you’re more concerned with hot talk than you are seeing things through another perspective. I saw yours, offered mine, and am good with this being over with someone who can’t make that leap.

Using it on whoever pisses you off is too vague and doesn’t work . *Why* is someone pissed off? If there’s a physical assault, then a physical response is justified. If it’s a verbal assault, then it’s not unless *imminent* danger is implied.

“You trying to get the shit slapped out of you, too? :)“

Twitter is an almost fully written format. if he wanted to ensure it was interpreted as conditional, then it should’ve been explicit.

“You trying to get the shit slapped out of you, too? :)“

It’s not explicitly rhetorical and it conflates physical and verbal with the general word “behavior.” Both are not the same in impact.

I’m in DC. If you actually want to meet to get in a slap fight, we can do this.

Wait, how would this be equal? I’m not seeing how DL’s verbal sparring is the same as Adam Vennit’s physical assault

That’s standing up for someone else, not for yourself. Is that justifiable in this situation?

So, the guy who was lauded for restraining himself during a *physical* assault is being lauded for (the threat) of not restraining himself during a *verbal* argument (not an assault)?

Insurance companies are *worse* than the mafia.

I see this election as 1) a potential game-changer for the direction of the country or 2) a slight improvement.

I think these are fair questions. And I think there are decent things she did, but as a whole we need to demand *public* promises from her and hold her to them. That’s why Trump’s still on with this wall bullshit, his voters want it (he also preemptively promised it, but they did want it).

Private companies would be at a disadvantage in providing a service as they ALSO have to generate a profit, so they’d be charging higher fees. And in America most private corporations capitalize off of public research and development.

Claiming this is like “All Lives Matter” is a false equivalance. She isn’t undermining the Palestinian people’s claims to live, she’s supporting them. This statement infers and confirms her belief that *people* have the right to live, but that states can act against that. And she’s pointed that out time and time again.

In short, yes.

Because anyone whose ever sat on the phone with a Comcast/XFinity rep can claim that it’s so much more efficient? Inefficiencies can make a system more profitable and lack of competition can double that. Either you’re really dumb or deceptively smart.

I remember the midwest being full of Great Lakes yokels who claimed they had Native American ancestry as a weird distraction from owning stolen land. This is worse, but actually honest - he’s a turd supported by turds.

I was a minimize harm voter in 2016, but even I recognize that *no one* is owed your vote - It has to be earned.
