Yep. My 2009 Mazda CX9 had one of these engines in it. Didn’t know the water pump was an issue until I was sitting on the side of the freeway with a dead car. $7k repair because it completely killed the engine. It was just barely worth it to me to replace (too much to explain).

...and he is filing legal processes against other people and their “estates”, according to his own logic, what should his punishment be?”

On what cruise? I’ve cruised with Disney, Royal Caribbean and Carnival and they’ve never asked for my passport beyond just making sure I have it before they let me board. I’ve never had a cruise line hold my passport. They probably sent people to search the staterooms and found them.

They can leave you behind if it’s a ship tour though, too. Difference being that the cruise line will take care of getting you to the next port or home. In that case they will often wait as long as possible but there is usually some sort of “must leave” time for the ship. Usually has to do with tides or port fees.

The Lincoln Mark V just gave me a flashback of my grandparent’s 1978 Lincoln Town Car. They bought it new and drove it until an accident in 1997 totaled it. Grandpa even pulled the back seat out and made it into a bench that’s still on his porch.

First time I saw one of those was actually at Disney World about 15 years ago. Disney apparently had a fleet of them for Cast Members to drive around the property and do small-scale deliveries and such.

One of my kids has an eating disorder and Subway is one of the few places he’ll eat. I go to whichever one will make his Frankenstein sandwich without giving me a hard time about it.

I have to pretty much agree with your take. I held out and didn’t get a PS5 until Spider-Man 2 came out and while the game is phenomenal, the improvements over the PS4 Spider-Man are pretty minimal. Particularly if you play it on performance mode. In quality mode you definitely do get some improved visuals, but it’s

I bought my 2016 Highlander at the beginning of 2021. Favorite car I’ve ever owned and I got it for a steal like a month or 2 before used car pricing went nuts. It’s the Limited Platinum trim, only had 35k miles on it at 5 years old. Got it for $30k and I’ve already paid off half the loan. I baby this car like no

1981 millennial here. You will have to pry my Walmart+ membership from my cold dead hands. $15/month and I get free delivery (plus in-store scan and go AND Paramount+ which I actually get a lot of use out of) and the delivery prices are the same as on the shelf. I make a good amount of money so I always tip at LEAST

I’m one of those idiots that pays for Walmart+. I make good use of the included Paramount+, but we definitely save money (and time) on the delivery. We hardly ever go to the grocery store anymore. Delivery is normally $10, but we get it included for no extra charge - 3 hour or less is an additional $5 and we also make

Part of what happened is Chapek shifted some costs from Disney+ to another division to make it look like Disney+ was more profitable than it really was. I think it was something like Disney+ exclusives production costs for shows like Mandalorian or similar were billed to Disney Television productions which oversees

Big difference between the jobs being done by office workers and warehouse employees. The CEO of my company has us on 2 days/week in office. I drive half an hour to the office, sit at my desk, and attend Teams meetings all day, then I drive home. The days I work from home I walk down the hall to my home office, and att

I’m mostly on board with that. Except that the “standard” for a 2-car garage anymore will barely fit a couple of Corollas side by side. We used to be able to get my wife’s old ‘04CRV and my Accord in next to each other if I backed the Accord in with the passenger side inches from the wall. Parking the family hauler

Best way to watch it - https://www.rifftrax.com/super-mario-bros
The riff is hilarious. If you do the “friends” subscription it’s only $5/month (sub and cancel immediately so you only pay for one month) and includes this movie with the riff embedded.

How...DARE...you!

I think the large, generalist, throw everything at the wall, type of conventions are dying. I saw this happening with a tech conference I attended regularly for several years (Interop). It went from being a really fantastic way to connect and see some of the newest networking and data center gear in action to just

I think it’s because it’s so well balanced. Like the humor feels so effortlessly woven into the story of the characters and their interactions. It’s not just “Haha, Indiana Jones said something funny” now back to the movie.

It’s because a private equity firm bought Instant a few years ago and decided to make that the “parent brand.” The same PE firm already owned Pyrex and Corningware and probably decided Instant had better name recognition or something and folded them all in under one umbrella corp.

Lego Peter Parker called Miguel O’Hara, not Miles.
