She had something unique. She is like a human being, but the good thing is that she’s silent. You don’t have to discuss it. She hates other animals and she hates children.

The tap water here in Seattle is good, but when we visited my husband's parents in Maine they were all don't drink the tap water on account of the arsenic. ARSENIC? They were so casual about it, too! Their water is trying to assassinate them!
C'mon, Doc...you've been around Kinja long enough to know the answer to that question. :)
Your roommate sounds like a peach.
where I live, tap water is tested once every 6 seconds or something equally absurb to ensure its purity. Bottled water by law (in Canada) needs to be tested once, just before its bottled. And bottled water is just tap water from somewhere else, most of the time is not even anywhere far. The whole "pay for water…
"Sink water, unless you have a well, is recycled shit water with everyone's pissed out pharmaceuticals."
This is NOT accurate! Tap water is much, much, much more strictly regulated and treated than bottled water. Really! Bottled water is largely unregulated, meaning you have no idea what's in it.
I work in the government in public drinking water department for my state and I can tell you that water from the tap is NOT recycled sewer water. Where I live, water from the tap is either groundwater, like from the water table in the earth, or surface water, which is from reservoirs, lakes, streams, creeks and the…
But bottled water has chemicals leached from the plastic, especially if the bottle is reused or warmed up at any time. Gross. Plus it's bad for the environment. A sink filter is a much better option than bottled water.
All water on the planet has had shit in it.
Isn't most store bought water just another location's tap water though?
I have no idea if any of what you said is true where you live, but if that's the case then I feel sorry for you. Bad tap water is a shitty cross to bear.
I'm with your husband on this: get an actual reusable water bottle. Better for your wallet and MUCH MUCH better for the environment.
I think it’s an effective design choice. She didn’t have many resources to work with and it shows, but the options being blurred out and such are a very effective way to mimic depression. This isn’t “Open World Skyrim Depression Quest,” it’s a game meant to simulate the hopelessness depression can bring and the…
After our readers so enthusiastically took to the idea of listing the best classic PC games of all time, I wanted to…
I think you missed the point of that design choice. The inability to choose some of the things presented to you is meant to simulate how when you have depression, you often KNOW what you can do to make it better, but depression makes it impossible to actually take those choices. As someone who lives and copes with…
I wish I was smarter when I worked there. (But then maybe I wouldn't have worked there?) So many sketch things happened and when I reported them to the person I was instructed to, that person told my boss, and my boss fired me.
I actually like the fact that AA uses models who were are realistic looking and less photoshopped (shit, I've seen stretch marks on their models before, which is practically revolutionary in this day and age), but I really, really wish they would find different ways to pose and shoot them. The girls are always…
