Why not send a simple email to the dude or to Jezebel staff saying “hey, this is not cool?”

A lot of the screenshots from recent history have no context;

? My mom was making fun of this and the infomercial for it six months ago.

Don’t worry. I can take things too literally sometimes and could easily imagine coming to the same conclusion you originally did. Also, the people who are being abysmal to you are trolls and not regular Jezzies, as far as I can tell. They are probably all like 14 years old, or 40 with the emotional maturity of 14 year

This guy has such a history of violent hate-filled rhetoric. It goes so far beyond what is linked to here. You can get a clearer picture if you google him, but don’t. Seriously, if you love yourself or even if you’d like to love yourself some day or if you’d rather not have all hope for humanity die inside you, do not

Yes, that is my disorderly goat. It is irrelevant how he ended up in New Jersey when I live in the Pacific Northwest. Please send him to my house now.

Of course he supports the “religious freedom law”. He has been very open about his desire to erode the separation of church and state.

This was back before they were selling water. Here is a good summary:

I see where you are going, but they weren't selling Dasani along with the formula. If they had had access to clean water I would argue that it makes more sense for the mothers to drink it themselves and then breastfeed as they had always done before rather than paying to buy water and formula.

Yes, likely so, but it's actually safer than dirty water.

No, they convinced a lot of people in areas without access to clean drinking water who were producing perfectly adequate breast milk that their babies needed formula to be healthy.

I see more comments here that seem to be blaming models rather than an exploitative and toxic industry. A lot of the drugs and unhealthy eating are so that models can lose enough weight to keep their jobs. And saying that they should just quit and go into another field as some are suggesting is kind of bullshit. No,

I’m not sure how I feel about it, either. When I was in college, I had a friend who was modeling. She was 6’ exactly, and I remember one time she weighed in at 130, and they told her she needed to lose 10-15 lbs by a certain date or her agency would drop her.

All Hail the Mighty Lord of Texas Football:

Oh my god. Yes. Not having done this is now my biggest regret about high school.

Who knows. Maybe they chose it because they thought (very wrongly) that a Holiday Inn bar would be low key or maybe they were friends with the staff. Also, I'm just going to come out and say it: McMenamins' beer is kind of awful.

I used to correct my teachers, too. I had three different coaches in high school who did some real fucked up stuff to my grades, and I had thought that was why. One of them just started passive aggressively giving me 100s on everything I turned in, including tests, which doesn’t sound so bad, but it felt really

I remember in Houston a few years ago they had to shut down a couple of municipal wells because the water from them contained uranium. I didn't drink the tap water when I lived there. It's not like you can filter out radiation.

I took it for a couple of years but had to stop because of the memory loss and other cognitive problems it caused. It really helped with my chronic pain, too, but I can't do it.
