I understand that. But it's not mocking emotions. It's mocking an emotional display, a tantrum if you will. When people come here, plug up their ears, screw their eyes shut, and immediately start spewing vitriol and being derogatory, & then get all upset because no one is listening to them or taking them seriously, I

This isn't even remotely about "male tears". This is about a segment of an oppressive class entering a space specifically for a marginalized group and demanding to be heard. Who does that? Who goes into a group of which they are not a member and tries to hijack the entire discussion by telling everyone they are wrong,

I also have to say I'm very impressed with everyone's restraint in not feeding the trolls and keeping them in the grey and otherwise keeping the discussion on track. I'm happy.

Right this instant I am loving the kinja overhaul. I have never before seen an article like this without the comments threads getting hijacked.

Second try: This very diamond was commenting a couple of hours ago on Lindy's article before this one was even published, and it's quite miffed. My attempt isn't quite as timely as the first though.

Ok, that absolutely failed miserably.

Wow, now that I know who you are, I totally understand! You're this diamond! Well done!

This kind of publicity actually makes the U of A administration look really horrible. They have a responsibility to protect their students, and I hope the press and attention leads them to rethink their decision to allow his encouragement of hatred and violence on campus.

I agree. Anyone who sees rape as a valid punishment for anything is likely to punish in that way. And judging by his tweets, he sees women as being inferior to men. Rapist, all the way.

Try not to be so obvious next time. We all spotted you from miles away.

Oh, do tell.

Yes, because attractive people routinely comment on media blogs about how supremely attractive they are.

It's not even based on superficial appearances. Lindy is lovely.
