Not all gawker media employees.

Not everything you are saying.

This is great

That's not a fait accompli. Just because some of these institutions suck at it, doesn't mean anything short of criminal prosecution has no value. The school can take disciplinary action regardless of what law enforcement does.

It sounds like the board members got it right. The appeals board messed up.

They feel more secure with their college than police. They want their attacker removed but not imprisoned. The burden of proof is lower. The process includes confidentiality. And probably lots of reasons that I could never dream of.

The article also said the school included non-verbal communication as possible consent. None of it should matter here, because Rizzo not only didn't verbally or non-verbally consent, she said "No." I'm not sure why the appeals board decision did not match the evidence Rizzo said she presented. There are many

Thank you! I don't know how many of these college assault articles we have to have before people start thinking beyond "colleges can't convict."

I would be afraid that mandatory reporting might discourage victims from reporting at all.

Yeah, where is the "feelgood" part?

She was 15, which is young, but certainly not too young to start grappling with societal issues and not young enough for you to be quite so pissed off.

It could also be because everyone saw all the photos all over the internet. And also racism, which re-emerged when the most beautiful baby ever opened a wormhole with her amazitude.

I watched the show. I think it was like two hours. I remember because that's insane. Why do they even bother?

I'm especially giving the "I usually hate Kim, but why hate her for being oblivious to racism" people the side eye. This is one of the first times she's displayed something substantively vapid that actually matters. Usually the snark about her is overblown and not a little sexist. But now, when she actually fully

She was 15 and knew OJ and Nicole personally. She has talked in interviews about the trial being a pivotal moment in her family's history, with her dad and mom being on opposite sides. I don't think this was just another case that her dad was doing at work and left at the office. She even attended the trial and sat

Oh, I'm not doing it today. But I am in training for the big event.

Let's not forget that Kim had a front row seat to one of the most notorious criminal trials involving racism. She's had ample opportunities to think about racism.

Given her lack of empathy,I hope someday Kim Kardashian pens an essay on extreme poverty.

I'm working on breaking the record for most words read on Gawker in a single work day. How's that one?

That's at least 75% of the reason the bread caption is so funny. I still have a laughter headache.
