@Metal Keir Solid: Really, you like the primary control stick in the secondary position?
@Metal Keir Solid: Really, you like the primary control stick in the secondary position?
@Arppis: I don't see how the PS3 controller is better. The 360 has better ergonomics, better triggers, and better anolog stick layout. The only thing better about the PS3 controller is the d-pad, but that's really only helpful on 2D games. Since 90% of modern games are 3D, I'd rather have the 360 controller any day.
@tonyp21: Yeah, I guess it makes sense to copy the best design.
What did Sony do to turn things around in Japan? I remember that Nintendo used to dominate them with the DS and Wii. Now it's totally flip-flopped. Was it Final Fantasy games or did Nintendo finally saturate the market and now Sony products are the only thing left for the Japanese to buy?
Doesn't surprise me. Nintendo is always a couple of steps behind everybody else.
@FriarNurgle: What's the next step? Never leave the side of that friend so that you don't lose coverage?
@Nigel: Same here.
I'm still stoked about the PSP phone. Hope it's real and comes out soon. I like playing games on the go, but I refuse to carry any electronic device accept for a cell phone, so my mobile gaming is limited to what I can do on my WM device. It has a physical keyboard, which is good enough for some games. Way better than…
I wonder how Japanese gamers feel about the SMB2 USA reskin of Doki Doki Panic. I know over here, people generally accept it as the true SMB2, since we never had Doki Doki Panic or the Japanese SMB2 until the Lost Levels. Do the Japanese accept it as a true Mario game?
@☭CHARIZARD☭: I didn't think the game was that hard. I just did the 99 man trick on 1-1 and plowed right through it.
Instead of a straight up port of the SNES version, they should have remade the games with 2.5D graphics. Then in 5-10 years they could have done the obligatory HD remake.
@OneKidney: That depends on what your definition of fun is.
@octasquid is now closed beta: I'm not a fanboy of any platform. I don't own any Sony game systems or Android phones, but I would snatch this up day 1 depending on which carriers it's available on.
@fujii13: Exactly. This phone solves all control issues with playing games on modern phones. I can't believe there are so many people that can't see that.
@AznMetalHead: I dont get it. Why would it had been better a few years ago? There is still no smart phone on the market with real game controls. Do you think people only wanted good controls in the past, but now they're fine with terrible controls?
@lovedecake: You're really going to hate the future.
@Niteman cometh: That's a terrible comparison. You can't say every gaming phone will fail just because the N-Gage did. That's like saying that every console will fail because the 3D0 did. Besides, Sony has much more gaming expirience and clout than Nokia.
@theape: Audio CD's came out in 1982, so you thought they stopped production on cassette walkmans in '83?
@PajamaSam: Not necessarily. I've heard some of his other material that kind of has a conservative slant to it. I think that it's just that most comedians depend on stereotypes for their jokes, so this one was just too obvious for him to pass up.
@acountddd: Black Ops supposedly has bots for offline multiplayer.
