I thought it was something HL related until I read the headline, then I assumed the headline was wrong.

That’s a headcrab yo.

I’d be more inclined to watch a ME film or TV show that involved a new story with new characters than one that retreaded the story I had already played through in the games.

Yeah, I’m a believer that some stories only work in their original medium. I don’t think a ME film or film would be a bad idea, just not the Shepard Trilogy told in ME 1 -3.

Yah, Matchmamking really killed TF2 for me. I stuck around for a while, but having to drop out of a good server and queue everytime the map rotated to something that caused a mass exodus... was not fun. I recall there was a way to find servers the old fashioned way, but a lot of the good dedicated servers died off

Or modern-day Russia.

(he argues that because teenage boys naturally abhor girls and are driven to avoid any contact with them, the presence of girls in church has driven boys away from Catholicism, leading to the current woman-dominated, homosexualised Church)

I have hated him ever since Indigo Pophecy/Fahrenheit had the female detective have sex with the reanimated corpse of her primary serial killer suspect for no real reason. (also the whole Hobo Illuminati twist).

And these fucking Gizmodo sites have dipped their toe in that particular pool:

My school allowed a group of born-again evangelicals to force us to view slides and slides and slides of late-stage untreated AIDs victim’s genitalia. A couple of girls asked to be let out of the hall and the teachers refused. It lasted about 3 hours

To the detriment of those apps. OKCupid used to be, for what I was looking for, the best dating app, but Match.com has slowly stripped out every feature that differentiated it from the rest and heavily monetized anything still on there. It used to encourage users to write detailed profiles, read potential matches’

I’d rather see Bill Gates held to account for aggressively incentivising Oxford to sell its patent rights to Astra Zenica and thus endangering millions in poorer countries (and causing further waves and lockdowns in rich countries) than taking a punitive stance over something that at worst was probably an accidental

There is a difference between looking for a point of failure to prevent it from happening and looking for someone to blame. Jon Stewart is looking for a place to pin some blame.

I know this wasn’t a bit (unfortunately). I honestly think its time to retire the brand of Jon Stewart humor. It was fine for the Bush era, but in the Trump era and beyond, I find it unwatchable. Particularly Steven Colbert. I used to be a big Colbert fan, but watching his show was like watching a halfwit court jester

Counterpoint: Cyberpunk 2077 went out of its way to not have a synthwave soundtrack (yes there are a handful of concessions) and its score is utterly forgettable. The only bit of Cyberpunk 2077 music that left a lasting impression was Archive’s ‘Bullets’ which featured on the original trailer but, as far as I can

I’m not a Final Fantasy fan... but I feel you. That was embarrassing. I can’t believe the powers-that-be at squeenix greenlit that trailer.

I just can’t get excited for a game that came out over 20 years ago.

Nobody in the livestream chat knew what this was. Because Avatar is so fucking old and irrelevant.
