Why does anyone latch on to people like Tony Robbins, anyway? They’re just revival preachers without the theistic/supernatural component.

I totally get how it’s too risky to hire pretty women. I, too, would rather NOT hire a pretty woman because of the risk of myself or someone else sexually assaulting her. I’ve read studies about how only women who are attractive by societal standards get assaulted or harrassed, so my logic is sound.
I mean, yeah, i guess (if i’m reading his intent correctly) that being a victim for the sake of attention isn’t healthy.
Yes! Because people don’t point this out to gain significance, they point it out to MAKE IT STOP. If you point it out, you can prevent it from happening to others. Tony Robbins made a really dumb argument here.
But some of the women ended up on the cover of Time. Tony Robbins has never been on the cover of Time. Ergo they’re using the movement to gain significance. It’s obvious–if you’re a self-interested blowhard, like this guy.
Not only that, but who in the fuck *wants* to be known as the person who was raped/harassed/assaulted by a famous person? That’s not a title people aspire to. Fuck him.
It always reads, to me, like what they’re trying to do is guilt you and make you dislike yourself so that you’ll buy their next book/attend their next seminar on how to fix what was never wrong with you in the first place.
What is this coveted status Tony Robbins and George Will seem to think accusers enjoy? These turds think Anita Hill or Rose McGowan or Andrea Constand are walking around with a #MeToo punch card where if you accuse nine high profile men of sexual misconduct, you get a free mani/pedi with the tenth accusation.
The Princes of the Universe
This is all I see.
There’s only one Queen:
What’s an Offset? Ah, young love, I don’t miss that shit at all.
This is a straight-up overreaction.
Seems legit
This literally sounds like something Saul Goodman would have come up with.
The world actually did end in 2012 as predicted by the Mayans. Since then, we’ve been living in a strange purgatory where things become increasingly more ludicrous. One day we will hit a breaking point and wake up to a new world, a new consciousness.
Why does everything in 2018 feel like a fever dream?
